Idea

Mircod is the first company to offer a completely automated platform for rapid IoT development. Mircod’s “drop and drag” interface allows everyone (technical and non-technical users) to design and develop new IoT infrastructure and devices.

Market

With less than 1% of things connected today, the IoT market continues to expand and is expected to grow to $661 billion in 2020. By 2020 it will be responsible for generating 22 times the current data traffic, with 40% of all data being generated by sensors. It will add over $10 trillion to global GDP doubling the US economy.

The Mircod platform is creating a complete modular IoT eco-system consisting of the following segments:
- PCB’s, Chipsets: SiP, SoC with Over the Air (OTA) updates, 3D and mock-up
prototyping.
- SDK/API Development Kits: iOS, Android, Windows, Smart TV, Augmented Reality (AR)
for adaption and visualization of all data.
- Secure Cloud: Amazon, Azure, Google, Samsung…..security, HIPPA compliance.
After users choose components from each segment, the Mircod AI platform assesses and selects the most compatible solutions based on criteria such as form factor, availability of parts and cost. As a modular system, the platform allows users to select only those segments that they require.
